A friend and supporter of SFHR, Lynn B., came up with an excellent idea to help raise funds for the horses here at the farm!
As of February 1, 2012, we will be taking in much more than needy horses here!
We will be accepting used (or new!) vehicles that may need a little work. Let’s call them “lightly used”. Bill is a semi retired mechanic and as always he can find time to do a little automotive work. Let’s call this job security! We can then sell these vehicles at a fair price and this will help to feed the herd at SFHR!!
Bill would like everyone to know that he is not going to take in vehicles with blown engines.
So, if you have a trusty rusty friend you would like to donate, e mail us at horserescue.org@gmail.com or call us at 715 592 6622 and we will talk. We can arrange to pick up the vehicle.
All of your donations are tax deductible.
More details will follow and we will have an adoption page on the website for vehicles ready to go to their new homes as this rolls along…..
