The months are flying by! How many times have you heard that (or said that)? Here at SFHR they really ARE! We are already looking at the August calendar and wondering if we can get all our projects done by fall/winter.
We have an open house scheduled for September 25th and we hope you will mark your calendars to attend.
UPDATE: Due to a family type conflict, we must postpone the open house at this time. We will reschedule!!
Before I go any further I want to share a bit of news from a local fair called the Amherst Fair and this year we set a record with adopted horses from SFHR. There were five horses shown by five wonderful young people and we could not be prouder!
Congrats to Kimi (riding Rayne), Courtney (riding Gaston), Cassi (riding Ed & Flash), Austin (showing Scarlet) and Alexis (riding Flash) on your hard work, ribbons and great horsemanship and showmanship. I was not able to attend the fair but I know I will see you all at the Rosholt Fair this fall! Here is a cute picture I wanted to share!

Our annual hay drive is well underway and we are happy to report that we are already half way to our goal of $9,000 to feed the herd this year! We appreciate all the support more than you can imagine. Thank you!
UPDATE: Our hay drive is going well but we still need donations. We are at $4,800.00 and we need to raise the $9,000 before the end of the year. We appreciate your support!
We have some new adoptable animals listed here on the website and we hope you will consider the adoption option for your next best friend. As the “fair girls” would be happy to tell you: Rescue horses Rock!
On a personal note I would just like to mention that although the economy is still struggling and times are very tough for a lot of folks right now, we appreciate all the positive support and kind words coming our way lately! We are very grateful and humbled. Thank you!
Blessings and positive thoughts from:
